Walton Construction was engaged on a negotiated basis to carry out the fitout of the new floor and complete refurbishment of their existing space to a very high standard of finish.

Work commenced on the upper floor whilst Downer continued its business operation on the floor below. This included forming a staircase penetration, which was stabilized using carbon-fibre strips adhered to the underside of the slab around the perimeter of the opening in lieu of a traditional steel structure.

Downer then relocated on time so that their existing floor could be refurbished and fitted out to an as-new standard of finish.
