PROJECT: Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School, Kenmore

These two new classrooms, an extension to an existing building, have become the showcase for state of the art learning facilities in the school. Built to address the needs of a growing community, the extensions were constructed with the expansion of the school population in mind. Some of the constraints overcome throughout the duration of the project were the proximity of classes to the construction zone, the construction of the ground floor over an embankment graded at 45 degrees, and a limited time frame. Strict adherence to a tight programme enabled the school to commence their new school year with construction complete.
