The new world headquarters for travel publisher Lonely Planet Publications was created by completely transforming a four storey former wool-store and fish processing plant into a state of the art office space. The open plan layout has a casual feel and includes a cafe and gymnasium, but a professional and efficient edge to the construction enables the building to house a media and communications system that places it centre stage in the international world of IT.
