Unique project completing the progressive upgrade of a significant Melbourne Junior School. Melbourne Grammar was keen to establish a new central focus for this junior school with an example of striking functional architecture. Works included demolition of existing classrooms and refurbishment of an existing chapel and hall.

The Expressive Arts building includes two art studios and gallery, film and recording studios with dark room and editing facilities, sound proof music classrooms, specialist drama theatre with seating for 160 patrons. The new building was structurally connected to an existing building with linking corridors.

Two, two level buildings interconnected by a suspended covered walkway. The building includes a fully equipped home economics room, science laboratories, computer laboratories and general learning areas as well as covered courtyard common area and disabled accessible ramp system.

Double storey general learning area and a single storey prep building. Careful planning and consideration was given as construction was carried out whilst the school remained operational.

Construction of three individual general learning areas and after school care facility. The main construction was a structural steel frame and brickwork façade with metal clad roofing. Work was carried out within close proximity to operational classrooms and administrative buildings.

State of the art Sporting Facility complete with competition court on a suspended floor. The stadium also houses a commercial kitchen, general learning classrooms, staff rooms, reception, function rooms and a 25m heated outdoor swimming pool constructed in accordance with FINA regulations.
